Wonho

Quick facts

The deal

Wonho is signed to Intertwine Records for his US activities. He was one of the first two artists named when the label launched with BMG in June 2021, according to Billboard. The other was Monsta X, the group he left in 2019.

At launch, Billboard reported that Wonho would keep working with Highline Entertainment, a Starship subsidiary, in Korea. That split still describes the setup. Highline runs his Korean releases. Intertwine handles the records it puts out for the US and worldwide.

Releases on Intertwine

Apple Music lists five current Wonho releases with an Intertwine copyright line:

Love Synonym #1: Right for Me was Wonho's solo debut. The current Apple Music edition includes Open Mind, I just, Lost In Paradise, With You, a Korean version of Losing You and an English version of Open Mind.

The solo start

Wonho started his solo career in 2020. Billboard's June 2021 launch story noted that he had "released a pair of solo EPs over the past year." The first of those, Love Synonym #1: Right for Me, is the edition Apple Music now lists under an Intertwine copyright line. It opens with Open Mind and closes with Losing You, and it includes an English version of Open Mind.

Syndrome

Syndrome is Wonho's first solo studio album. It came out on October 31, 2025. The ten tracks are Fun, If You Wanna, DND, Scissors, At The Time, Beautiful, On Top Of The World, Good Liar, Maniac and Better Than Me.

The rollout used two singles ahead of the album. Better Than Me arrived in June 2025, four months before the record. Good Liar followed in early October. If You Wanna was the title track on release day.

US press picked the album up after release. FOX 11 Los Angeles ran an interview with Wonho about the making of Syndrome in November 2025. amNewYork covered the album in December 2025 under the headline "WONHO's Syndrome: How a beloved K-pop idol maps the arc of love and kicks off a new era with his first English album."

Touring

Wonho took Syndrome on the road with the Stay Awake World Tour, which played Latin America in July 2025 and Europe in September 2025. Dates in Saitama and Seoul were added for February and March 2026.

A planned North American leg in late 2025 was cancelled by the tour's promoter. A separate run of US concerts was announced for July and August 2026, starting in Lincoln, California.

Background

Wonho was a member of Monsta X until 2019. He started his solo career in 2020. Between late 2022 and September 2024 he completed his mandatory military service in Korea as a public service worker. He was discharged on September 4, 2024.

His first release after the discharge was What Would You Do in November 2024, which Apple Music lists under Highline Entertainment. Better Than Me followed on Intertwine in June 2025. From there the order was a single, a tour, a second single and then the album.

In July 2026 Highline released Core, a new EP. That record is a Highline title and is not part of the Intertwine catalog.
